I downloaded the PSC CDs from archive.org. I installed the first CD. After installing, I get:
"ADO: Could not be installed properly"
In the installation log file. When I run the exe (which is apparently the database indexing thing), it says "ActiveX component could not create object".
I made sure every single DLL and OCX the program apparently uses is registered. There appears to be two separate sub-installers for ADO or Jet. They "seem" to install fine, but I guess not.
Can anyone help me figure out what OCX is not loading properly? I tried filemon.exe and it was not clear.
BTW, I am using Windows XP cause I figured it would be period correct and more likely to work.
