We recently implemented a new phone system with a soft phone app, and need to add 'click-to-dial' functionality to our VB6 app.
The phone vendor is saying we can go to "Choose default apps by protocol" in Windows and set the soft phone app to be the default handler for the "URL:CALLTO protocol". Easy enough. Now, they are saying we should easily be able to trigger this CALLTO in VB6. They can send us to a 3rd-party company for custom development, but we need this done ASAP and are sure custom development won't be cheap, no matter how quickly they do it.
I can't find any code examples anywhere. Does anyone know how to use CALLTO in VB6?
