I have writen a new edition of a certain VB6 ap.
I send to a beta tester with the following instruction "don't install this in your pc in case we have bugs because in your pc we have the old version and we are working with it - install it in some other computer".
He proceeds to install it in his wife's pc and the wife is Albanian and probably she has some settings relating to her own language.
We normally work in Greek language environment but the tester's wife is Albanian.
He proceeds to test the new ap anyway, makes various notes for me but the strange thing is some tables are distorted.
In the ap the table is headed by a green textbox set to locked and in it appear the table headings. Those headings are in Arial narrow and in the "Albanian" computer they are out of order.
Also that computer had no adobe acrobat and he installed it. But when he tried to open a pdf it could n't be done, "pdf corrupted" it said. But the pdf is not corrupted since we are opening it from the other machines.
What is the explanation ?
Language settings I suspect but I may be wrong.
Normally my computers are set to English - the windows system that is. But if I set to Greek it's ok, no such problems.
About other languages I don't know and in Albania they use Latin alphabet as far as I know.
So it's strange.
