DateTimePicker

Hi,

I developed a program eleven years ago for filing emails from Outlook. I have been updating it since then and the latest version is written using Visual Studio 2019 running on Windows 10
My clients have been using this program and others for all that time and have had various 'small' problems which I was able to either recode or find a fix for.

The latest issue has me completely stumped, as I say they have been using the programs and on many different computers over the years running on Windows 7 until the latest Windows 10 release.
They are in the process of rolling out some new laptops and so far every one has been fine except one.

Part of the program means either using the current date or selected date in the past by a DateTimePicker dropdown. It seems to work fine but the date returned to the program is given in US date format i.e. MM/dd/YY when it should be UK date format i.e. dd/MM/YY

Obviously since it works and has always done in the past, it must be the laptop settings. I have checked that UK English is the preferred (and only) Language/Keyboard/options on the laptop. I have even tried entering a DateTimePicker.CustomFormat of dd/MM/YY in the code but it is still returned as US format.

I have asked their IT dept to check the laptop again, check any difference in the BioS etc and I'm awaiting their reply.

Has anyone had a similar experience to this ? and if so did you find a solution

Many thanks
Kind regards
Bob
